Angela Peart is an established Author and she has worked with young children and families for many years. She is a mother and Grandmother and  has used her personal  experience  as a Mother and Grandmother and her passion  and experience of  working within the Early years field, to write stories that reflect the experience of young readers and encourage them to enjoy books.

Jemsbooks was founded in 2016. The wonderful illustrations have been produced by her son; Daniel Peart. Angela has published three books to date  and more are planned.

The stories and images have been developed to ensure all children  of colour can identify  with the images and all children can learn about the importance of celebrating our diverse communities and for each child to be the best they can be as well as respecting themselves and each other.
